Account Director (AD)

Due to our exceptional growth, we are looking for talented Account Directors to support our healthcare practice group. Ideal candidates will have experience within an agency, experience working with healthcare clients, and deep knowledge of client relevant media.

Racepoint Group Account Directors are responsible for working closely with the senior team on existing clients and new business activities, as well as leading efforts in specific technology/business initiatives. AD’s are also responsible for helping the senior team in spearheading the development of new client services. The AD has a deep understanding of the public relations program from development through counsel and budgeting.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualified Account Director candidates must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related business field
Typically has 8-10 years of public relations or communications experience
Proven management skills required; strong team management experience
Strong problem solving, analytical, budget management and business skills
Experience in a variety of public relations programs and industries
Strong presentation skills
Mastery and use of standard office technologies such as MS-Office, Internet and online services, PowerPoint, MediaMap, Factiva News Retrieval, etc. required
