This position is located in our Argentina office in Belgrano Capital Federal.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate is one who is seeking the opportunity to build world class processes and teams within the fast growing mobile app and cloud services industries. The right individual for this position will have a proven record of successfully leading information systems teams, improving value in IT services, and improving programs and platforms within the technology industry during transition from small to efficiently structured enterprise while serving large businesses.

This is a fast paced work environment in which we are recruiting over 20 top team members over the next 60 days. Working in start-up and smaller organizations is a requirement, ideally having helped bring effective and efficient processes to the organization. Technology background is an important consideration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement technology processes and strategy. Formulate and deploy strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing to support global growth. Deliver a road map and blue print to achieve the vision.
Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of products and services.
Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision.
Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s products and services, including opportunities for innovation, identification of competitive services, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to business success.
Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering the Company’s products and services.
Lead a world-class team and provide visible leadership for the Company within the industry.
Share knowledge, mentor, and educate management, staff, and customers with regard to the Company’s technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
Coordinate with Executive staff to ensure IT is providing optimal business partnership.
Develop enterprise data management methodology and standards and promote throughout the Company.
Identify and remediate engineering coverage gaps and coordinate activity between teams to meet the Company’s objectives.
Leverage technology for all aspects of the role.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience with software/internet startup companies.
5+ years of experience as IT Director or equivalent.
Significant experience in a technology leadership role, including responsibility for the development and management of the company’s technology vision and mission.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology innovation and product roadmaps.
Strong fundamental understanding of business operations.
Natural ability to identify the most efficient solution to a challenge.
Driven to achieve success as a team.
Understanding of the nature of software development and software developers.
Ability to create effective processes to accomplish goals.
Proven ability to deliver on time and on goals.
Must be a proven creative and innovative technologist.
Outstanding leadership, team building, and motivational skills.
Have a passion for, and experience with early stage, high growth companies.
Experience leading the strategy for successful product development teams.
Knowledge of web and security standards.
Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
Significant experience with XML web services technology.
Experience with Java and open source technologies.
Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
