Digital Media Director - Universal McCann - San Francisco


Job Description

The Digital Media Director is responsible for managing a team in developing, executing, and monitoring media plans for clients as well as developing and executing cross-discipline/corridor communications planning. This is for a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

- Oversees staff in the day-to-day activities of the department

- Oversees media plan development and implementation

- Develops media strategies consistent with brand marketing objectives and selling strategy

- Recommends targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with media strategies

- Maintains relationships with all levels of client

- Ensures best practices are applied across account responsibilities

- Prepares and makes presentations to clients regarding media recommendations, ensuring buy-in

- Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and handles all personnel requirements for immediate staff including training and development

- Seeks out information to remain current on media trends

Desired Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

- Six to ten years’ experience in media planning including three to five years management experience required

- Experience in multiple business categories

- Extensive experience writing and presenting relevant information

- Understanding of marketing and communications process
