Job Description
TITLE: Senior Project Manager
Well established Supply Chain solutions provider, has an opportunity for a Senior Project Release Manager in the NY/NJ Metro to manage the rollout and deployment of product releases from product, development, QA and operations. The RM oversees the change management and the development lifecycle and works closely with Marketing, Product Management and Development. The RM will ensure code is merged properly and QA and Operations teams have tested the application for an effective rollout. This company works with global shippers and provides a tool to optimize their supply chain transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the application release into production and test environments for deployment
Manage the development lifecycle with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with Development, Testing, and the Business Analysts teams ensuring updates and changes are correctly scheduled
Maintain code base, source control and version control of the application to ensure all development /changes are managed and deployed to production appropriately
Oversee the overall change management processes ensuring segregation of duties
Working with Product and Marketing on planning deployment to customers of product releases including notification, training and documentation
Administer Change Management tracking system
Using Fisheye, or GIT tolls, ensure source code application for proper code deployment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical experience
Experience with the product development lifecycle and familiarity with audit controls and tracking changes to software applications
Strong knowledge of SaaS technical environment and tools
Project management experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
MS Office and Project fluent
