Director of Online Marketing Abe's Market - Minneapolis - North Loop

AbesMarket.com is a fast-growing online market for natural products. Abe's is backed by two of the world's top venture capital funds. We are looking for an ecommerce marketing expert to drive acquisition and, ultimately, retention of customers.  The position will report directly to one of the Abe's co-founders.
 
Position Description:
The role of the Director of Online Marketing is to drive qualified traffic to the AbesMarket.com website, leveraging acquisition and retention-based programs, including: paid search, natural search, affiliate programs, comparison shopping engines, email, social media and other online media. Equally important, it is the role of the Director of Online Marketing to provide frequent, detailed analysis and reporting for all marketing programs to ensure that the marketing investment falls within the guidelines of the company.
 
Responsibilities:
Develop online customer acquisition strategy to deliver heavy traffic to AbesMarket.com that can be converted into loyal, profitable customers.
Lead execution (with agencies, as appropriate) of core online customer acquisition tactics, such as: paid search, natural search, affiliate program, shopping engines, email campaigns, social media and more.
Continuously test and learn to drive more efficient, scalable acquisition of high-value customers.
Provide detailed analysis and reporting for all marketing programs to ensure that the marketing investment falls within the guidelines of the company. Analysis must include customer acquisition costs, loyalty/retention rates, lifetime value and more.
 
Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
Significant experience managing online customer acquisition across multiple marketing channels, preferably with a Top 25 Internet Retailer company.
Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Passion for natural and organic products a plus.
 
Reporting Relationships:
The Director of Online Marketing will report directly to one of the two company co-founders.
