Job Description
Cerner's RevWorks organization focuses on transforming the healthcare revenue cycle by increasing efficiencies, decreasing errors and improving the financial management process. RevWorks is a growing and dynamic business model with business services including patient access, HIM/coding and patient financial services plus a portfolio of management, consulting and implementation services combined with solid solution offerings. Providing expertise in Revenue Cycle operations and management, the RevWorks organization targets improved financial outcomes for clients. RevWorks is seeking a talented Sales Leader for the organization.
The RevWorks Sales Leader leads and directs the new business development and sale strategies for penetrating new clients. You will lead a small team of client/sales executives and direct the following key sales activities: territory management (including pipeline maintenance and territory analysis); initiating and maintaining strong client relationships; client presentations; and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors.
If you are a seasoned sales leader with experience in: leading a team of sales executives; long sales cycles (9-12+ months); selling at senior levels (CEO,COO,CFO level) within the healthcare market; driving new business development; and, consistently exceeding high quotas, this is the position for you.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3-5+ years of sales leadership experience
3-5+ years sales experience with Revenue Cycle solution and/or services
Demonstrated ability to drive growth and develop new business with a proven track record of exceeding established sales targets
History of success in building significant relationships with C-level clients
Accomplished executive-level communicator with the ability to navigate the organization effectively
Experience selling into new markets
Currently residing or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area
Ability to travel up to 80%
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Self-confident, self-motivated, energetic, tenacious and resolute, with a high sense of urgency and a strong drive to produce results
Customer service, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, product knowledge, presentation skills
