Responsibilities
• As a member of this team you will be responsible for: designing, implementing, testing
and debugging enhancements for Symantec's NetBackup Deduplication product line.
• Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code from simple to complex features of a product, focusing on implementation.
• Follows the software lifecycle process when developing software.
• Collaborates with team members or other groups in writing functional designs, interface specifications, and prototypes.
• This position will require strong problem solving skills as well as a solid programming background.
• Design, develop, and maintain unit test software with a focus on insuring product stability.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with programming in C, C++.
• Multiple operating system (Windows and Unix) experience preferred.
• Preference towards candidates with previous experience with the agile software methodology and Test Driven Development.
• Excellent communication skills and abilities to work within a global team.
