Job Description
The Director will:
Contribute to team revenue and profit goals
Develop winning research proposals
Deliver outstanding analytics/presentations that address client business issues
Developing loyal repeat client relationships
The Director will work with and be supported by a high performance team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Build strong relationships with cornerstone clients and work with VP and team to expand that business
Excellent design, data and analytical skills with the ability to convey findings concisely and with marketing insight
Write proposals, including pricing
Coaching, training, and mentoring project team members to build their research and business insight skills
Manage projects in their entirety with minimal oversight
Team with the VP and other associates on large complex projects
Resolve day to day operational issues
Work with clients in person, by phone, by email
Desired Skills & Experience
BA/BS in Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, English. Masters or MBA preferred but not required
6+ years of experience with a quantitative market research supplier or a combination of supplier and client side experience in the pharmaceutical sector with a successful track record in client service
Ideal candidate will have extensive quantitative experience, potentially managing a subset of a large multi-category client.
Other requirements
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and professionally with clients, verbally and in written form, in both project discussions and presentations.
Excellent multivariate skill backed by proficiency in Excel, SPSS, WORD and PPT
Orientation to business/marketing issues in addition to analytics
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
