Job Description
As a Director within a pivotal area of Interstate Batteries System of America (IBSA), you will be integral to the on-going success of Interstate Batteries. DU has proven better visibility and better collaboration will result in profitable growth and has adopted this slogan as the premise of how the team will work together with our Distributors.
In this position you will be responsible for the overall direction, execution, and ownership of the Market Optics and Analytics system within Dealer Universe. Working with business intelligence and geospatial technologies, this role will have a significant leadership opportunity to contribute to the company’s vision. You will provide strategic marketing input, exhibit exceptional program management, and lead a team while modeling Interstate Batteries’ core values.
Lead, manage, facilitate and coordinate the Market Optics and Analytics team
Collaborate side-by-side with IBSA Distributors to set the strategy and direction
Drive action with IBSA Distributors through the Business Intelligence data
Work with senior leadership within IBSA to define direction and partner with Executive stakeholders
Formulate metrics and key performance indicators to be able to report and analyze performance of all aspects of the IBSA business
Team up with Marketing define, develop, and deploy dashboard visualizations to drive profitable growth for the enterprise
Correlate business data to performance and initiate action based on analysis
Partner with Information Technology teams to leverage the existing Business Intelligence technologies
Analyze data trends and metrics to be able to lead Distributors to opportunities for growth
Desired Skills & Experience
A qualified candidate has:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other relevant field of study
8+ years working in an analytical or consulting environment
Experience managing Business Intelligence solutions; working knowledge of MicroStrategy is preferred
