Job DescriptionVarying, numerous, and changing reimbursement policies around the world necessitate global intelligence-gathering and coordination in order to create and execute reimbursement plans that maximize the global revenue potential for Alcon’s pharmaceutical products. Marketing and R&D teams require a global understanding of reimbursement options and requirements
Develop successful global reimbursement plans for drugs. Monitor local execution of the plans.
In early stages of product development, provide R&D with a global understanding of health economics studies and clinical trials that are required for maximum reimbursement.
Maximize global attainment of reimbursement goals by providing support to local personnel, e.g., Achieve high reimbursement for Alcon glaucoma brands in markets around the world.
Prepare global reimbursement assessments for new product candidates.
Serve as Fort Worth personnel’s expert on reimbursement in prioritized OUS markets.
Provide vision and recommend direction to business unit leaders, global marketing, government relations, and R&D teams in response to changing global reimbursement requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Alcon’s global reimbursement, government relations, health economics, and R&D personnel.
Desired Skills & ExperienceMinimum Education Requirements:
BS or BA
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Four years of director-level global pharmaceutical industry reimbursement experience, including three years of responsibility for interacting directly with government reimbursement officials.
