Director, Marketing and Sales BayaSoft - Leominster


Job Description

The Director of Marketing and Sales reports to the Managing Partner and manages three staff persons. This position has both strategic and execution responsibility over all functions pertaining to the following:

- attracting and retaining BayaSoft clients
- expanding BayaSoft’s visibility, presence, and relevance in the industry
- maintaining all BayaSoft corporate messaging and brand positioning
- strengthening relationships with clients, prospects, allies, and industry thought leaders
- meeting with clients and prospects at conferences and in on-site visits
- shaping business strategy through project leadership and through insightful awareness of present opportunities and future trends
- leading the team that services initial customer contacts including requests for pricing, promotional items, presentations, and other information

This position is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must possess strong and diverse marketing communications skills and be able to think both creatively and analytically to solve marketing communication objectives. Writing skills are essential, and graphic skills are a definite plus. Implementing and monitoring a comprehensive sales strategy is vital to this position, including setting goals, motivating teams, and tracking achievement. This position is responsible for leading several company-wide initiatives, so the right person must have experience working across teams and managing long-term initiatives with multi-step timelines.

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong background (minimum of seven years’ experience) in marketing and selling B2B marketing services or B2B technology services and will have experience leading teams and managing staff. Experience in the marketing research or data collection industries is strongly preferred. A proven track record of relationship building, client acquisition, and success in reaching sales targets is essential.

Superlative executive-level spoken and written communication skills are essential; applicants must possess full fluency in both written and spoken English. Candidates also must understand the mathematical and logical complexities common to complex quantitative research and must have at minimum a four-year college degree. Candidates must demonstrate eligibility for employment in the U.S.
