Job Overview: Leads internet engineering projects and creates the development and delivery of enhanced solutions. Researches alternative technical solutions for changing business needs. Major Accountabilities: · Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.· Develop overall strategic technical plan and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps. · Make presentations to the Management, Business Owners and other Stakeholders. · Assist in examining commercially available and forthcoming industry technologies related to area of expertise. · Research on current and upcoming technologies and application appropriate frameworks and provide recommendations to Management. · Perform PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help Department in the selection of Technology. · Proactively create and maintain solution and technology road maps. · Assist in vendor selection and RFI/RFP process. Review to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards.· Education: •Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. · Knowledge / Experience: •5 to 8 years of experience in related field in delivering secure solutions in Financial Services Sector is preferred. · Advanced knowledge and understanding of internet engineering concepts and methodologies is required.· Demonstrate MasterCard core competencies Skills/ Abilities: o Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment. o Must possess high degree of initiative and self-motivation, ability to drive results and strong relationship, collaboration skills and organizational skills. o Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team. o Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks and tools along with the ability to support multiple concurrent activities and to interface with external / internal resources. Specific technologies:o Experience with J2EE Application Servers. (Specficially WebSphere and JBoss)o Experience with Java development experience.o Experience with Apache & Apache modules such as mod_proxyo Experience with WebSEAL v6.x and TAM. o Ability to troubleshoot low-level JVM & OS problems.o Deep knowledge of OS Internals(Linux, AIX, Solaris)o Knowledge of basic cryptography, PKI, and security concepts, including hardware cryptography.o Deep understanding of LDAP, J2EE Security, RBAC security models.o Deep understanding of WS-Security, SAML, WS-Trust, and STSs. Previous work with TFIM helpful.o Working knowledge of SOAP, REST(JAX-RS), & XML over HTTP, EJB 2.1 & EJB 3.0o Working knowledge of Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Spring Framework, SEAM, Hibernate, JPA, JCA, JMS.o Working knowledge of MQ Series, XML Gateway technology (DataPower, Layer7), ESB technology.Apply Now - Resume or CV with Job Post Title
