Director Human Resources Zscaler Inc. - Sunnyvale


Job Description

Zscaler is looking for a Director of Human Resources to lead and effectively enable and manage the company’s fast growth. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and act as a trusted advisor to company executives and managers on issues of strategic organizational design and development.

Position Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have 8-10 + years of experience with increasing leadership responsibility in HR. S/he will have a proven and outstanding executive track record in HR management with an executive leadership focus.

The ideal candidate will have past experience managing and growing the HR function at a company that experienced significant growth. S/he will have the demonstrated ability to creatively and effectively manage the change associated
with a high growth environment, including organizational development, guiding and managing cultural change, recruiting and the operational aspects of HR. A strong International experience background is also required.

Desired Skills & Experience

Specific responsibilities include:

Act as a business partner to the executive
team providing strategic counsel and hands on partnership to each
department head to help them get the maximum performance from their
department.
 
Provide executive guidance on the recruitment
and development of a superior workforce.
 
Manage and implement department budget and HR
systems and metrics.
Develop and administer performance management  and employee development and retention programs to foster positive
employer/employee relationships and promote high levels of employee morale  and productivity.
 
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure the company’s compliance.
 
Monitor and effectively communicate employee  policies, processes, and learning initiatives that support business
objectives and prudently manage compliance and risk.
 
Design, implement and administer compensation  and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and regulatory
compliance.
Identify and drive compliance with government  reporting regulations affecting the HR function (e.g., EEO, wage &
hour compliance, records maintenance, etc.).
Provide a vision for a high performance culture and drive talent initiatives to strengthen and develop leadership
at all levels of our business. 

Provide direction on management training programs that invest in employees’ growth as well as align with the company’s needs across all mdepartmental functions.
 
Implement our employee handbook and on boarding program.

Coordinate with immigration attorneys on all employment and immigration related matters (H-1B visa transfers, green
card applications, etc.)
