We seek an experienced, articulate and analytical Director of Product Marketing to guide our product marketing efforts and to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for our SaaS Reputation Management platform.
This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer with responsibilities including market and competitive analysis and segmentation, product positioning and messaging, product launch campaigns, sales enablement and training, product collateral and sales tools. The Director of Product Marketing will also help shape demand generation campaigns and messaging and coordinate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Outbound Marketing.
Develop highly-focused market segmentation and use cases to inform outbound marketing and campaigns
Perform ongoing market research and articulate competitive differentiators to internal teams and customers
Develop launch plans and execute launches for new product offerings
Work with our Senior Manager of Product Marketing to develop product collateral in the form of presentations, data sheets, how-to guides, release notes, FAQs, white papers, POVs, case studies, ROI calculators and other tools that highlight Reputation's value proposition, key differentiators, and benefits vis-a-vis the competition
Serve as a subject matter expert to help the sales, marketing, and customer success organizations articulate Reputation's platform features and advantages to their customers.
Work closely with customers to understand their preferences and concerns and share this information with internal teams (engineering, product and marketing) for product tweaking and new product ideas
Work with Product Management to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product roadmap, feature gaps and customer requests
Qualifications:
At least 8 years of significant and broad product marketing experience
Ability to work fast with little guidance
Ability to turn a rich and fast-evolving combination of product features and customer stories into compelling, differentiated, and powerful product messages.
Outstanding writing and verbal skills
Highly effective presentation skills; comfortable and effective with CxOs
Proven track record successfully marketing SaaS technology platforms
Experience conducting and analyzing market and competitive research
Experience influencing and communicating product offers to customers, prospects and sales teams
Sound understanding of, and experience with, enterprise tech demand generation
Technical awareness and a keen sense for what makes complex projects go well
BA degree required. MBA is strongly preferred
