The Operations Leader is responsible for leading a cross-functional, multi-facility structure to support our site in Everett, WA and oversees multiple focus factories. This role is critical to our success and requires a candidate with a diverse background and experience with complex, low volume, high mix manufacturing.
In this role, you will oversee multiple functions, including materials, production, manufacturing engineering, and distribution centers. As the selected leader, your scope of responsibilities includes, but are not limited to defining an Operations Strategy to align with the Business Unit (BU), Objectives, Priorities and Budgets; development and advancement of the Fortive Business Systems culture. Key focus areas will include the execution of daily management, achieving revenue targets, safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets (cost center expenses, absorption, productivity and inventory); the cultivation and support of targeted customers and the ongoing continuous improvement of all operations.

Qualifications:
• 10+ yrs. of progressive operations management experience required
• Cross functional management experience required; with experiences in manufacturing engineering, production operations, and various materials management roles desired
• Experience managing >$50M operating budget is required
• BS Degree Required, preferably in engineering or technical field; although others will be considered depending upon experience
• Proven track record in controlling costs to budget, preferably manufacturing variance management.
• Proven track record of successful problem solving utilizing critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
• Master’s degree in business or technical field a plus
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-site operations is a plus
