We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Director, Merchandising Transformation Delivery to join our Merchandising department. This position has the option to be based out of our corporate office in Mississauga, ON, Montreal, QC or Stellarton, NS. This role will require significant travel across Canada.
What you'll get to do in this fast paced role:

Lead national Merchandising Transformation Delivery

Lead team to support the execution of the merchandising transformation strategy and meet performance goals
Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success
Lead Merchandising Transformation Program Delivery

Ensure strong communication and governance is in place to support the Merchandising Transformation program; including program oversight and working committees
Provide effective project and change management support/leadership for Merchandising Transformation program initiatives
Manage business PMO processes and coordinate with Merchandising team for support
Develop and maintain a learning management repository to ensure all process and training documentation for merchandising roles
Nurture Business Relationships

Establish strong working relationships with other functions to ensure we have alignment in tools and methodologies that support the Merchandising team – IT, PMO, Change Management, Business Process Management, Finance, Operations and Marketing
Empower employees and develop top talent

Create opportunities for skill development and career progression to develop talent
Job Requirements

What your resume will include and demonstrate to us:

Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Project Management, use of specific methodology and tools/or a minimum of 8 years experience in project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to lead merchandising transformation projects
Ability to facilitate functional and cross functional teams to make decisions, close issues and hold them accountable; results oriented
Exceptional collaboration and listening skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to clearly communicate with management, users, and the technology team
Ability to build a high performance team
Ability to understand big picture and interdependencies with other functions (e.g., Operations)
Experience leading complex programs, with many work streams
Experience with many facets of merchandising processes
Bilingual French/English preferred
