As the CTO Cybersecurity Manager, you will be leading the cybersecurity team on identifying, investigating, and evaluating future technologies which could provide differentiating value as well as could mitigate new threats to the MSI portfolio. You will develop the future landscape of these technologies and the application and/or implications to the MSI business. We are looking for an individual with broad relevant knowledge, skills and experience that can also go deep in selected technology areas as needed. A self-starter accustomed to working in an environment with technical uncertainties, business ambiguities and solving anticipated future business-relevant problems. The work in this position will be closely coupled to existing and developing emerging business opportunities.
Investigating, defining and leading cybersecurity CTO projects that will provide differentiating value or mitigate future threats for the MSI portfolio.
Moving the outcome/value proposition of Cybersecurity projects out of the CTO into the MSI businesses in the form of business/product impact.
Identifying current and foreseeable security trends, challenges and opportunities (including adversarial tactics, techniques and procedures) for which current solutions do not exist; develop implications to MSI and develop a roadmap of technologies / capabilities to address.
Maintaining awareness of cybersecurity industry and technology trends
Participate in strategic planning around MSI cybersecurity efforts.
Representing the CTO team on MSI Cybersecurity Governance Board
Ensuring cybersecurity technology alignment within MSI by collaborating across the MSI Cybersecurity community.
Evaluate and work with commercial vendors to test and assess the viability of cybersecurity solutions
Provide cybersecurity mentorship to junior staff, and others in MSI Support continuous improvement and development initiatives

Must possess a broad skill set with respect to secure design of networks, software and security services which protect deployed technology.
Ability to develop a vision, then build and execute a plan to realize the vision.
Ability to formulate and present strategic recommendations to senior management
Provide cybersecurity expertise on large and complex projects
Must have experience with Software Development and Software Engineering, including S-SDLC practices
Ability to work and influence in a very matrixed organization
Proven track record for operational excellence in either IT or Cybersecurity through deep involvement in many of the following areas: architecture, solution design and engineering, security operations, penetration testing, incident response, service development and management
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security - Masters degree a plus
Minimum of 10 years experience in information security Experience in IT or security operations, and/or product development with cybersecurity focus
Must have technical knowledge and/or experience in security, networking, systems administration, database administration, architecture and other technical domains.
