Building and leading a team of data engineering experts in Audible’s technology organization.
You will work in a fast-paced, Agile environment with cross functional leaders to understand and influence business strategy, set priorities, define technology goals, and deliver.
Set high standards and build teams that deliver the best data processing infrastructure and produce the highest quality data product possible.
Work closely with partners throughout the business and data science teams to drive out ambiguity and enable exploration across a wide portfolio of opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
15+ years experience managing software across a variety of functions and groups (QA, Engineer, BA, etc.) within an agile projects framework.
Deep expertise in data engineering and data processing at scale. Requires a focus on the development of pipelines for the creation of data lakes to enable exploration as well as machine learning model training, deployment and scoring at massive scale.
Familiarity with data science techniques and frameworks
Ability to create structure out of ambiguity and set direction for your teams.
Demonstrated skills in detailed-oriented delivery management. Results oriented and with a strong customer focus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to influence at all levels.
Strong analytical skills and creative thinker.
