This role focuses on partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization.
The position requires:
a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas.
Responsible for leading certain strategic process, visits customers, and influences the organization via these processes.
Activities include running component, ingredient, platform or initiative POPs, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in multiple strategic task forces.
Experience as a Product Director/Sr. Product Manager for an Optics company preferred Optical Transceiver company for a minimum of 7 years
Experience of key design wins into both Tier 1 Data center customers and Network Equipment Manufacturers. Experience with Contract Manufacturing in Asia
Strong organizational skills. Run meetings and manage projects effectively.
Strong leadership skills.
Effective at getting others to help you make it happen.
Strong passion and drive and an entrepreneurial, positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with customers and can engage and persuade at the CEO level.
Strong technical and analytical capability, must be able to understand tradeoffs in specifications, cost structure, and market timing
MS, in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable degree, Ph.D plus
