Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Director of Medical Sales to focus on profitable sales and pipeline growth consistent with Molex corporate goals and objectives within the Medical Industry. The Director of Medical Sales will be responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals in the MedTech space.
Essential Functions:
Develop and manage a Sales team, Expense budgets and key metrics.
Create and implement strategic business plans to achieve key revenue share and profit goals for assigned Regional and Global accounts.
Manages all strategic activities within assigned core account(s). Works with other areas of the organization to provide technical, operational, and service support as needed. Keeps the organization informed on trends, opportunities, and needs of the account(s).
Develops relationships at all levels of assigned core accounts.
Support pre/post Sale Operations to meet the needs of Customers & business
Work across Functional Teams to support organizational process and growth
Manage/direct Sales tools; funnels, forecasting, account plans, reports etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
10+ years Medical sales experience in business to business and indirect channel.
3-5 years experience in leading a geographically dispersed sales team.
5+ years experience in selling solutions with value proposition using a consultative approach.

Skills and Abilities:
Sales performance as evidenced by quantified results in progressively more demanding positions is required.
Experience leading and developing sales professionals.
Solid track record of success in selling complex medical solutions as well as demonstrated performance in the industry's primary sales channels.
Demonstrated success not only as an individual contributor but also as a Sales Leader of a successful and dynamic organization. The ability to set strategy and lead are required attributes.
Comprehensive technical knowledge such that they can articulate value propositions and how various products and end-to-end solutions can address complex customer needs.
Excellent communication and strategic planning skills plus experience in executive selling.
Regular travel is required, estimated at 50%-60%.
Established account relations with end-user clients.
Excellent interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and develop others in a positive manner.
