The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving Gold Standard performance across the team. Business Development Managers are ultimately accountable to delivering against their team’s opportunity-generation and KPI goals. To achieve this, they must focus on (obsess over) their teams ability to triangulate around activities, skills/knowledge and execution.

The Business Development Representative Director is expected to be an active participant in the BDR business. This includes:
Weekly reviews with BDR Managers
Weekly opportunity-generation reviews with senior sales leadership
Monthly performance reviews for individual BDR’s
Continuous skills development of the BDR managers and BDR team
Working with sales enablement/training to support content development
Being the first line of escalation for any issues / support
Giving tactical advice / coaching tips
Consolidating feedback from the team to discuss with senior management
Be a key business partner to other departments
Managing operations with a daily / weekly / monthly reporting cadence
Continuous evaluation of ‘how to get better’ by thinking about business process and technology enablers
