Lyft is looking for a strategic, director-level HR business partner to support C-level executives, manage a team of People Business Partners, as well as support a small client group in driving towards their business leader’s strategic vision.

Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and align a team of People Business Partners across a multi-functional tech organization
Set vision, goals and expectations to accelerate the team through rapid growth
Deep understanding of business acumen, how their client-group operates and applies that knowledge to all aspects of people-related strategy, programs, and practices; leads with the business
Partner with and advise senior leadership on people-related strategy and decisions including organizational design, change management, compensation and performance management
Provide expertise in development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts
Design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, talent development and team building based on data insights
Elevates the team by striking a balance between critical feedback and positive affirmation to coach and develop direct reports, executives, managers and employees
Experience & Skills:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience; strong preference for candidates with an MBA or secondary degree
Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner supporting VP to C-level executives at a rapidly growing tech organization
Demonstrated experience developing a team of HR professionals
Ability to build and apply business acumen in development of people strategies and capacity to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization
Effective influencer, communication, and interpersonal skills; great listener
Comfortable giving and receiving direct, continuous feedback
Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues
Excellent problem solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound data-driven decisions
Exceptional consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
Demonstrated change management skills
