Lenovo is seeking a Data Center Sales Leader for our North America Global Accounts Acquisition team. This Director position will be responsible for developing new account relationships, acquiring new business, and delivering on aggressive sales objectives selling Lenovo’s total Data Center Business portfolio including Lenovo System x, ThinkServer x86 servers, enterprise storage, software, and services.
The leader will possess a strong business technical acumen, sales intuition, and a hunter mentality. The strategic leader, alongside their account team, will build executive relationships within the accounts to ensure Lenovo is represented at the highest levels.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing, managing, and maintaining new and existing account relationships while delivering on aggressive sales objectives.
• Creating and executing the overall go to market strategy; providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives.
• Driving a culture of high performance with a strong focus on leadership development for direct reports.
• Using a structured and repeatable business process to enable accurate pipeline management via forecasting of SKUs, revenue and profit.
• Working across Lenovo’s highly matrixed organization
• Ensuring the the RAD (Retain, Acquire, Develop) model is implemented and accounts are moving to R&D teams
• This position will directly and indirectly manage other skilled sales professionals
