GoodData is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to develop, manage and create programs that drive demand. The ideal candidate is a modern marketing strategist that understands all forms of demand generation, and has invented a few of their own. The candidate will manage the demand generation team and report to the CMO.
Manage a team of 3 demand generation managers responsible for online (SEO/SEM/PPC), field marketing, events and operations.
Drive competitive campaigns in a crowded market space to support aggressive pipeline growth
Determine the most appropriate mix of marketing programs to target existing and new prospects in key segments and verticals (i.e., webinars, trade shows, SEM, paid search, content syndication, display, web and email)
Build and drive innovative lead generation programs for converting online prospects.
Establish and optimize repeatable processes for demand generation, nurturing and converting
Process and operating knowledge of Marketing automation and CRM tools (i.e., Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Engagio)
Determine KPIs that measure campaign effectiveness by measuring and improving lead quality, conversion ratios, market fit and ROI
Work closely with the SDR team to create and manage SLA’s and campaigns for both inbound and outbound lead creation.
Effectively communicate plans and metrics regularly to marketing and sales leadership
Analyze industry trends, market conditions and competitors’ marketing tactics to offer recommendations on best ways to improve demand creation strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related major, or equivalent related experience
Manage marketing programs planning and budgeting
10+ years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on demand generation, pipeline building, lead lifecycle and nurturing.
Previous experience building demand generation teams
Experience creating and executing ROI-driven marketing campaign plans
Data-driven; proven ability to leverage campaign results to drive strategy
Strong understanding of SaaS applications and business intelligence
Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills
Proven experience in developing trusted relationships with executives, with the ability to present persuasively to various stakeholders
Ability to balance, prioritize and deliver excellent results under tight deadlines
