NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Director Technical Clinical Applications to join our team. Preference is to work onsite at our local Plano, TX office, but will also consider remote work within the US. This role will require at least 30% travel to customer sites.
Role Responsibilities
Leader of the technical & infrastructure managers for Cerner, Epic, NextGen, MEDITECH, and EMR application technical teams
Manage relationship with EMR vendors for technical support
Develop and maintain strategy for EMR vendor technical & infrastructure support
Produce vendor specific quotes for customers
Meet with customers and provide strategic directions on the EMR technical infrastructure application
Maintain compliance to SLA’s for multiple customers across multiple tools
Manage budget for multiple support groups
Provide expertise understanding of EMR products
Balance workloads and find efficiencies within teams
Escalation point for customers and internal team members
In-depth knowledge of Cerner Millennium technical requirements and operations
Travel to customer sites as needed
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of technical experience with EMR products such as Cerner, Epic, and/or MEDITECH
Minimum 7+ years of healthcare IT experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience solution architecture for EMR projects
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience with technical support teams for EMR products
Ability to travel to customer sites at least 30%
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Preferences
Prior work experience with Cerner
