Visa's Market Commercial Product Team has responsibility for the North America Market P&L and product vision for Visa's commercial solutions including creation of issuer segment strategies, commercialization of new and enhanced products and services, research and thought leadership, and product engagement with our issuing financial institutions and partners. The team serves financial institutions and their downstream clients by providing payment products and services to the large and middle market corporate/multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain/B2B segments. The North America Market Team works
collaboratively with the Commercial Platform, Partnership and Commercial Sales Team as well as other regions, ensuring alignment of market positioning across all areas of Commercial.
The role requires analytical, collaborative & technical product skills. In addition to ‘classic’ product management
experience, this role requires deep commercial payments and/or ERP, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable background. Experience with network, Issuer, processor or expense management software partner is a plus. Will consider candidates who are located in any city with Visa offices in the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Launches, owns, maintains, refines MM solutions
Develops 3 year product roadmap(s) including voice of the market, voice of collective clients
Gap Analysis
Competitive analysis
Build/buy/maintain analysis
Collaborates with platform owners on prioritization of roadmap items
Develops & executes on feedback loop (advisory council, analysts, etc)
Develop new feature, functions or offerings based on Visa (or market) innovation
Drives growth based on new ways to solve MM business problems
Identifies & executes on activities for white papers & case studies
Other product marketing duties as assigned
Qualifications
Senior Leader with extensive experience (12-15 years) in Product/Sales and P&L management, preferably in Commercial card
Knowledge of all electronic payment types including Commercial card payments experience
Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources
Strong results-oriented leader; analytic and fact-based consultative discipline
Add value to customers by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions
Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome
Able to work independently and in a matrixed environment
MBA or equivalent work experience required
Can be based in any US city with a Visa office location
