Public Sector Sales Director Adobe Sydney

This is an exceptional opportunity to create the next generation of success for Adobe with the ANZ Government. Reporting to the MD of Public Sector, Asia Pacific, the Government Sales Director will be responsible for driving a highly skilled sales team toward and above revenue goals. You will provide advice and direction, coordinating a strategic GTM approach into your allocated market. You will be responsible for driving a high performance culture. You will have a proven track record in sales leadership and be highly regarded within ANZ among peers and customers alike. As part of the ANZ Leadership team you will have a close working relationship with the other members of the ANZ team and will be expected to contribute to the strategic and tactical success of the business.
What you will do

Organise and motivate sales teams to over achieve sales targets
Drive and manage a performance related culture in the sales environment which includes management of poor performance and recognition of high performers
Achieve all sales targets year on year
Ensure integrity in SFDC for reporting purposes and forecasting. This includes 100% compliance by the sales teams:
Enhance skills of sales team to achieve highly effective sales units using the "selling value beyond the product" methodology
Coordinate sales teams to ensure the most effective use of sales resources (including technical resources)
Maintain a cordial working relationship with key clients and potential clients to ensure that Adobe is considered a business partner and to identify business opportunities as they arise
Liaise with key industry partners in and across ANZ
Be a thought leader in the digital transformation for government movement
Engage with customers at a senior level to evangelize Adobe’s technology solutions
What you need to succeed

Over achievement of sales performance year on year
Proven experience in selling software and project solutions to government enterprise clients
Web content management
Deep understanding of the ANZ market, and executive level relationships with key customers across a broad portfolio of industries
Hands on leadership style and proven experience managing a high performance sales team
Demonstrate a methodical approach to identifying, developing, closing and maintaining a sales pipeline
Proven experience in driving sales relationships with senior business executives
Collaborate across the organisation to align resources to better meet customer requirements
Highly developed contract negotiation skills
Need to be able to quickly grasp changing business situations and put together solutions which take advantage of the opportunities when presented
Effective oral communicator at all levels internally and externally in either a technical or non-technical environment
Strong ability in written communications
Degree in Business Management or similar
