Broadridge is hiring! We're seeking a Director of .NET Development to join the Development team working on financial software. This is located in our Global Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:
Designs and leads development of the most technically challenging projects, for both new functionality in current products and for new products.
You will provides technical leadership to the development staff in all phases SDLC and implementation process.
You will participate in the overall planning and execution of development objectives
You will oversee development efforts with internal and external interfaces
Ensure all development processes and practices are completely and consistently followed
You'll maintain the consistently high quality of the software code
Ensure the meaningful coverage by unit tests and/or automated testing routines
Work with peers and management to develop process standards and/or improvements to prevent re-occurrence of Development-related issues
You will partner with peers, management, senior managers, internal and external business users to identify, capture, and understand their goals.
You will work with the team to build and share technology vision on an ongoing basis
Qualifications:
2+ years working in a management function
5+ years experience in software development
Deep understanding of C# programming language, WCF
Advanced SQL Server and Transact SQL skills
Hands-on team management experience
Ability to integrate into an existing development team and work with an existing extensive code base
You should have proven experience with unit testing
Solid experience working with Windows Forms or modern client-side Web Development
Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio Development environment and Microsoft TFS or GIT
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and crafting for performance, scalability, and availability
You'll have the ability to work with complex requirements and specification documents, and devise and develop appropriate software solutions
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Good analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Financial industry experience is helpful
