•The Senior Director of Hosting will be responsible for leading the Hosting Services team and for facilitating teamwork across the organization.
•This individual will provide guidance and collaboration throughout the systems development lifecycle to ensure effective and secure design, build, and operation of web applications and next-generation cloud, SaaS solutions.
•Lead a high-performance team in implementing and supporting innovative cloud solutions
•Assess and recommend current and emerging technologies for cloud services
•Participate in architecture design to marry business needs with proper technology (communicate in business terms)
•Ensure solutions are built for high availability, scalability, security, and supportability
•Maintain a culture of continual quality improvement, strong client focus, and responsiveness
•Engage senior leadership on strategy, technology roadmap, business cases, objectives
•Communicate and clarify organizational, team, and individual objectives
•Partner with the CISO, Security Team, and HIPAA Committee for effective controls
•Provide project oversight (partner with Program Management)
•Oversee change management and incident root cause analysis
•Provide performance appraisal and coaching. Motivate for high performance and teamwork
•Communicate upward on work status, obstacles, risks, needs, metrics, and accomplishments
•Own vital vendor-partner relationships
•Continually learn, discover, evolve, and mentor
Skills and Experience needed for the Senior Director of Hosting position:
•Oversight of policy, procedure, standards, best practices for effective service delivery
•Ownership of operations security safeguards for design and operating effectiveness
•10 + years supporting web based applications and licensing within a SaaS delivery model
•10 + years Management experience (including management of remote/offshore employees)
•Broad understanding of system components and their interactions
•Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar
•Master’s Degree in Computer Technology, Business, or equivalent experience
Ideal Candidates will also have:
•Development, DevOps, & Agile experience
•PMP, CISSP, CISM, CISA (or equivalent) preferred
•IIS, .NET, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
•F5, Citrix NetScaler, DNS, Cisco ASA
•Microsoft Windows, Linux, Citrix, Microsoft RD Gateway
