The Digital Health Director of Business Development will be primarily responsible for sourcing, developing and managing strategic alliances with key target accounts to strengthen, expand and drive market penetration for Flex’s Digital Health products. Through cross-functional collaboration with other functions including Product Management and Technology, you will be responsible for innovating using your broad and far vision of the healthcare industry, market, technology needs and expertise in customer requirements to extend the Flex Digital Health value proposition to new customers, delivering strategic business proposals that ultimately drive the need for a complementary software data architecture delivered by Flex Digital Health. You will lead solution development with the Flex Digital Health cross-functional team for identified opportunities, mapping solution requirements, deliverables, schedules and engagement models, incorporating into strategic business proposals aligning to customer priorities, differentiating through Flex Digital Health’s capabilities.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Develop new strategic alliances with key Flex Digital Health customers to strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.
Identify key stakeholders within target accounts, becoming knowledgeable of enterprise and brand/division level strategies, aligning to Flex Digital Health capabilities where mutually beneficial.
Innovate using broad and far vision of the healthcare industry, market, technology needs and expertise in customer requirements to improve and/or to extend the value proposition to new customers.
Lead solution development with Flex Digital Health cross-functional team for identified opportunities to map solution requirements, deliverables, schedules and engagement models, incorporating into strategic business proposals aligning to customer priorities, differentiating through Flex Digital Health’s capabilities.
Negotiate contracts with the customer on behalf of Flex with the support of the Flex legal teams.
Act as the primary point of contact between the cross-functional execution team and client, transitioning to Account Management as the business stabilizes. Continue to identify opportunities to expand the relationship with existing customers.
Assist Head of Product to define business requirements and product priorities.
Support product demonstrations and represent Flex Digital Health at trade shows and industry events.
Assist Director of Marketing to continuously iterate sales materials to be effective in the field.
Travel as required.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study
7-10+ years of extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry
1+ year knowledge of cloud-based software platforms
Experience developing new and existing customer or partner relationships, delivering strategic proposals and interacting with executives of major prospective customers, involving customer negotiations or influencing and persuading other senior level managers
Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
Strong organizational, leadership, communications, problem solving, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple clients, operate with tight deadlines and have the awareness to reset priorities as needed
Travel Required 50%
