The ideal candidate will have experience successfully leading diverse professional services teams, including design-thinking led innovation and enterprise mobility and digital transformation projects. The services organization will be at the forefront of driving new solutions innovation, and the candidate must be experienced in engaging with and managing customers in unique projects with a degree of ambiguity. He or she will have a firm grasp of strategies and methods to ensure quality delivery and the managerial capability to profitably oversee a services business.
Responsibilities:
* Set the strategy and GTM for the services organization.
* Work closely with solution management organization to drive innovation projects (proof-of-concepts, pilots and lighthouse customers) that facilitate the solution innovation strategy
* Lead and provide hands-on management for your teams and key customer implementations.
* Executive sponsorship and relationships with important customers and partners
* Develop and maintain procedures, metrics and key performance indicators to measure progress
* Work with sales, including project pre-qualification and scoping to ensure that sales understands and aligns with the service offerings and quality opportunities are developed
* Report to senior leadership with regular project updates, and advise as the implementation leader on the team
* Ensure projects meet or exceed Customer expectations
Necessary Skills / Attributes
* BS/BA degree in IT/engineering field; advanced degree desirable
* 15+ years of professional services experience in an enterprise software and IT, delivering to large enterprise customers; work with financial services sector and/or government highly desirable; experience in strategy consulting also desirable
* 5+ years’ experience managing a services business including P&L, recruiting, training, staffing, and performance management
* Experience in projects with leading edge technology (e.g., enterprise mobility, IoT, AR/VR) and large-scale digital transformation highly desirable
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead collaboration across functions and organizations. Proven ability to in dealing with business leaders on all levels and to manage in a complex organizational structure
* Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills to unique situations
* Strong operational management, project management, consulting, and process improvement skills
* Strong communication/presentation and negotiation skills.
