Fremont Bank seeks a seasoned, passionate, team leader to join our Digital team. The Senior Digital Director for fremontbank.com and Online Account Open will lead our next generation of fremontbank.com and online account opening platforms for Community Bank and Residential Lending business groups by working closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze, optimize, and lead deign change to the products and features.

The Senior Digital Director / Product Owner will lead informing and evaluating fremontbank.com and Fremont Bank’s online account opening experience to drive creativity and improvements to inform awareness of products and services, promote acquiring new clients, and expanding existing client relationships. They will be responsible for collecting and utilizing requirements, data, and consumer insights to provide actionable product development recommendations to the vendor, CX/UX, developers, and marketing.
The right candidate will have a strong, experienced product management background with a portfolio of successful released launches in .com and online account open in partnership with marketing to drive digital acquisition and penetration. This role will be a thought leader for fremontbank.com and online account opening for Community Bank and Residential Lending.

Role and Responsibilities

Digital product expertise across multiple platforms –desktop, phone, tablet, or other mobile modalities
Passionate and curious about the technology-driven world, and empathetic to solving our customer’s needs
Responsible for delivering an experience, so you must have experience in a product group focusing on web and mobile applications for a few years working with UX, engineers, and business analysts
Responsible for your products throughout the full product lifecycle
Working within the bank identify opportunities and uncover untapped needs through customer research and interaction data
Ability to deliver on insights by driving product vision and strategy to position our digital products for .com and online account opening alongside our core financial products
Understand how to use tradeoffs between customization vs. core products offered by vendors and articulate the cost/benefit tradeoff to inform decision making
Assess vendor’s strategic and tactical roadmaps to inform and manage releases in which the bank partners with vendors
Responsible as the General Manager for your product and accountable for its adoption, performance, and in some cases P&L for fremontbank.com and online account opening
Lead multiple large, complex and/or highly-visible programs that have significant financial reputational or regulatory risk, and requires deep and broad subject matter expertise (and the willingness to learn / dive into new content areas)
Work with Marketing to create successful metrics-based marketing initiatives to bring awareness, communicate, and increase adoption of digital products and services
Lead and manage product and feature launches with partners, vendor partners, and stakeholders
Partner with customer experience team to identify areas opportunity to improve client adoption and experience
Understand the client’s life cycle through the multiple channels of account opening and customer segments, build and execute a digital adoption strategy for each channel
Manage the creation and maintenance of product backlogs and user stories
Lead users and stakeholders to implement and support agreed upon solutions
Build and maintain roadmaps for your product(s) and insure those interests are represented amongst all Product owners within the organization to ensure the vision for your product roadmap aligns with broader company objectives
Monitor performance of your focus area and measure impact of your product enhancements
Determine resourcing needs for your team and make compelling requests for additions when required

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (MS/MBA a plus)
Minimum of 7 years of digital product management experience required
Positive, team-oriented and enthusiastic attitude
Extensive experience writing user stories and working with agile teams to execute
Experience leveraging key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business recommendations
Ability to foster internal and external business relationships to ensure alignment with company strategies
Exceptionally strong in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, and demonstrate superior communication skills to constituents across the business
Ability to think strategically, while being able to implement tactical plans
Led.com and online account open strategies and tactics
Experience with BSA/AML, IDV, and IDA
Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industry
Familiar with Agile/SCRUM
Vendor management skills to influence and drive change
Familiarity with design tools is a plus
