Director Merchant Integrated Marketing PayPal San Jose

The Global Merchant Integrated Marketing Director will develop strategy and drive execution and collaboration across markets of integrated campaigns across the PayPal product portfolio and be the voice of the global merchant audience segment. As part of the Global Brand team, you will lead in a central role with Product Marketing, GTM and Channel leads to orchestrate end to end marketing strategy and plans for key product and campaign launches.
This leader will play an integral role for key product announcement and launches and has experience across multiple marketing communications disciplines to can toggle seamlessly between the importance of the PayPal brand values and our product features.

Responsibilities:

Lead integrated marketing process and guide execution of multi-platform, multi-country plans, ensure a cohesive merchant customer journey from brand strategy through to customer messaging and touchpoints
Develop and deliver effective internal briefs to cross-disciplinary marketing teams, ensuring plans champion the customer, leverage the brand promise, and are tied to business objectives
Serve as the primary marketing liaison to Global Product Marketing and GTM teams and provide in-depth consumer insights, trends, the PayPal brand insights, audience segmentation and the competitive landscape in planning discussions
Grasp business and competitive landscape to drive development of marketing KPIs
Oversee the strategic marketing planning process mapped to product roadmap, incorporating key milestones from briefing to creative development, research and reporting cadence
Establish key performance metrics across channels that align to business objectives and budgets
Work with the channel marketing owners and regional integrated marketing teams to best leverage campaigns and ensure consistent end to end customer experience
Work with the brand and creative services teams to give input on positioning, messaging, and evaluate creative for global campaign work

Requirements:

10+ years marketing experience, strong B2B or merchant-related experience required
Demonstrated broad marketing mix strategy experience across brand management, media, multi-touch channels
Proven track record of successful product and campaign launches strategic/analytical, well-versed in channel, media and brand KPIs/metrics
Success in integration with product marketing counterparts for deep integration with product positioning, value proposition, messaging and understanding of business objectives for features and products
Agency management experience a plus
Ability to thrive in a fluid environment. Results-driven

Bachelor’s degree required
