Lacework is seeking a talented Director of DevOps. The Director of DevOps is a technical leadership position responsible for leading the DevOps team responsible for the infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a high traffic SaaS environment. A successful candidate will have a passion for the elimination of repetitive work; automation, monitoring & self-service are terms this person will live and breathe every day. If you are a technical leader who embodies DevOps (communication, collaboration, integration, infrastructure as code and automation) and can lead teams, this role is for you!
Minimum 10 years of experience in a hands on engineering role with at least 5 years leading / managing a DevOps teams
Experience operating a fast paced, SaaS service with 24x7 availability requirements
Strong knowledge of public clouds like Amazon AWS and their APIs
Strong knowledge of the Dev Ops tool chain on Linux platform; Python/C++/Java, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, git, terraform, cloud formation etc
Strong communication and collaboration skills across the enterprise.
Strong problem solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field from an accredited four-year university preferred
