Facebook is looking for a Director to lead the Global Internal Communications team. The team's mission is to inform, connect, and support the people who work at Facebook, and to guide our culture as we grow.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the team, advising our executive leaders, inspiring cross-functional partners across our company, and guiding best in class internal communications for everything from company-wide events to internal conversations on Facebook Workplace. Facebook's values and the way we communicate with one another using our own platform to scale make this a uniquely high impact role.
This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with executive leaders and cross-functional partners on strategy and vision for scaling internal communications at Facebook as our company grows
Lead a cross-functional group with partners both inside the Communications team and from each of our product and business teams to share best practices
Build the tools and resources our teams need to scale their internal communications across the company
Show the skills and care that a great leader requires
Inspire both the team and partners around the company
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, post-graduate or professional degree
15+ years of internal, corporate, and/or political communications experience
Experience working internationally
Experience working cross-functionally in different job functions (tech vs. non-tech)
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Experience leading an internal communications function at a large company (100k plus employees)
Experience leading an internal communications function at a rapidly scaling tech company
