Country Director Vietnam Facebook Singapore

Facebook is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to manage Facebook’s growth across Vietnam, spearheading the company’s strategic relationships with global brands, agencies and partners for Facebook’s advertising platform. We are looking to identify an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the market opportunities and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day-to-day operations. The role leads the strategy across a functional team including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative. This position is based in Singapore and reports to the Managing Director, Facebook Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute Facebook's strategy and operations to ensure growth and achievement of Vietnam and Southeast Asia objectives
Develop, retain and motivate the Vietnam team while attracting new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities
Represent Facebook at industry events and to businesses, press, media agencies and creative agencies across Vietnam
Manage revenue performance by providing timely and accurate forecasts, by having clear visibility on sales and revenue performance, and by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with senior level clients while identifying incremental opportunities
Collaborate with internal and regional teams to ensure product improvement process efficiency, and transfer of knowledge
Actively participate in the Southeast Asia Leadership Team and global teams where appropriate, embracing the company mission
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience in sales and management of a technology and/or Internet company
Track record for managing regional sales and marketing operations, with a preference for experience in media sales
Proven track record of delivering high growth. Candidates must have senior executive relationships across the country’s largest brands and businesses
A history of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering sales targets in excess of company expectations, and a history of growing and developing high growth, scaled operations
An attractor of talent
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve their best with a team approach
Experience working with and knowledge of advertising agencies and groups. A sophisticated understanding of agency, television, Internet and other media advertising
Proven record of being creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized and of effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally
