Quartz is looking for an Account Director to join our growing, all-star team of digital media professionals in an exciting, start-up environment in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to make an impact on major accounts at an exciting new brand that is built for today.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate strong relationships through a consultative process involving on-site meetings and presentations with client and agency decision makers.
Develop and deliver winning programs and proposals that lead to lasting and commercially successful advertising partnerships with a focus on branded content creation and innovative custom advertising.
Inform ongoing business strategy development through deep knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, and trends.
Serve as a representative of the Quartz brand in a positive, convincing, and enthusiastic manner.
Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to win.
Ideally has relationships on both agency side and client side.
Ability to take ownership and work independently to meet aggressive performance goals.
Outstanding professional record of achievement.
Strong interest in global business, high-quality content and online media.
Excellent and persuasive communication skills, including an ability to create and deliver convincing arguments verbally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills and strength in building lasting relationships internally and externally.
Effective time management and organization skills.
