Qliktech seeks to hire a strong and talented sales leader who will support Japan in its next phase of growth and contribute to the International Markets Leadership team as they scale their business. The incumbent will work very closely with the entire Japanese operation including Enterprise Sales, Business Development, Inside Sales, and Partner Sales to include Resellers, OEMs, SIs as well as Field Marketing, Pre Sales, Consulting Services, HR, Recruitment and Finance & Administration.
Lead and coach the Japanese sales team in developing prospects, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales throughout your sales region
Coach and mentor Account Executives to apply and utilize the QlikTech sales strategy and methodology
Hire, direct and manage Named Account Executives and Territory Sales Managers in Japan
Ensure that a strong pipeline is built and managed throughout Japan
Meet or exceed revenue targets as directed by corporate initiatives
Prospecting for new clients, building a cohesive team including corporate marketing, pre sales consultants and account executives
Manage objectives across regions and communicate results to the leadership team
Ensure regional strategy aligns with QlikTech’s overall strategy to drive top line revenue growth
Partner with regional as well as global leadership teams on managed account strategy and business development opportunities with new or existing customers across assigned regions
Utilize BI knowledge marketing techniques to drive sales growth of QlikView
Develop mechanism to provide feedback and to share marketing and best practices across markets
Capture and communicate market intelligence, best practices and customer feedback across assigned regions to improve products and processes
Your background
Target orientated business leader with strong track record of driving a sales led organisation through both economic upturn and downturn
Strategic thinker and rounded business leader who has led all disciplines, not just direct/indirect sales across a matrixed business
Considerable experience of leading a business that is generating multiple sized sales across the SMB and Enterprise
Strong track record of scaling a business and ability to successfully build and manage a direct and indirect business and Go-to-Market model within the Japanese market
Effective coach and people developer with a track record of building and retaining high performance teams
IT sector experience in selling software solutions and/or products is desirable
Expertise in combining and implementing best practices within the software industry in terms of structure to support fast growth, efficiency and productivity
Awareness of the BI market and organizational trends who thinks through implications for strategies and decisions
Experience of a recognised Sales Methodology will be an advantage
Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and customer service skills
Ability to build influential relationships at C level in prospects, partners, customers, press, analysts, the industry and quickly obtain buy in across the region, company and matrix
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
An individual who would like to work within and build a value based business, who can demonstrate their ability to create an open and honest working environment for their team based on strong leadership enabling maximum effectiveness and productivity within their organisation
Your Profile
At least 10-15 years of experience in a Sales leadership role
Excellent presentation skills, conversant in English, and need to be able to write well in English.
Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex opportunities
Knowledge of one or more BI technologies is a advantage
