Inside Sales Director Datacentre Dell Montpellier

The EMEA Data Centre Inside Sales Director is a unique role newly created within the Commercial Sales team. Reporting to the Data Centre Leader for EMEA, the role will take leadership of around 100 Data Centre ISRs and their respective country Inside Sales Managers across the region for all segmented countries.

As the Commercial team drives growth in the storage business across the region, this role will bring leadership to the creation of the new Inside Sales team working closely with the Data Centre Sales Executives. The role will create a regional strategy to deliver against aggressive sales and growth plans, ensure that the team is staffed with ambitious and driven talent and will coach and mentor across the team to build capability and drive superior performance.
Key responsibilities will include:-

Setting the regional and country plans to deliver against the EMEA ISG sales targets
Drive account planning, sales strategies and sales promotion campaigns through the sales teams
Drive the 4 transformational strategies through high impact sales activities
Support the leadership teams and the reps to drive demand and revenue around Dell’s core business into installed accounts and net new accounts utilising the direct selling motion and with our channel partners where appropriate
Provide direction, development and inspirational leadership to the regional team members, ensuring the sellers are focused on customer relationships, solving problems and improving our customers’ experience
Use available Business Management Systems and data analytics to identify opportunities and drive and measure improvements
Ensure that the team is hiring and maintaining a diverse and highly effective workforce
Working closely with our Inside Sales organisations ensure that the teams are continuously developing their skills and able to hone their expertise in selling our high-margin high-value product sets
Ensure a clear career path through Inside Sales and to Outside Sales is available and careers are appropriately managed
Work in partnership with the Country/Regional Leads and the DCSE Leads to ensure a fully integrated sales organisation fostering close collaboration and teamwork
The Role Requires:-

A minimum of 10 years sales experience with 5 years in a leadership role
Experienced in working in a multi-country, multi-cultural environment
Ability to influence others to achieve results.
Uses facts and data to make informed decisions and maximize business opportunities
Lead, motivate and direct a workgroup that is not co-located
Strategic planning and the ability to drive accurate and timely decisions
Work effectively with senior leadership at a regional level
Spot great talent and build highly effective sales teams
English Language skills required
Conflict resolution skills as well as Mentoring/Coaching skills
