As Director, Sales Training & Development, you'll help shape Resy's sales strategy by partnering closely with sales employees to support the growth of a rapidly expanding team and overall organization. You will work with the Head of Sales to institute effective training strategies that drive revenue and enable the sales team to become even more efficient and successful.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering new hire onboarding and continuing development programs and trainings specifically for sales teams in fast paced high growth environments. You love coaching, mentoring and using creative strategies and diverse tools to help drive individuals and teams toward maximum success and performance.

What you'll do

Develop, implement and deliver relevant knowledge and training for all new sales team members to maximize effectiveness and improve sales performance
Manage sales team new hire onboarding program
Ensure new sales team members are progressing and ramping according to schedule and meeting (or exceeding) sales objectives
Build on existing--and create new--sales training materials
Continuously analyze sales team performance to evaluate effectiveness of training and design follow-up programs as needed
Create and maintain career development plans for sales team members
Mentor, coach, develop and inspire new hires and sales team members to deliver the best results possible
Simulate real-world experiences and provide clear feedback on sales pitches and techniques
Stay close to the business (Product & Tech) and understand the needs of new sales team members as our products and platform change
Facilitate regularly scheduled training and development sessions
Stay on top of and communicate industry trends, perspectives, and news
Research and analyze new sales training methods to determine the feasibility of use and application in future sales training programs
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
5+ years successfully delivering sales training to national sales team
Prior experience in B2B sales (SaaS experience strongly preferred)
Experience developing, implementing and conducting new hire onboarding for national sales team
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
Knowledge of and passion for restaurants and the hospitality industry
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
A strong passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing people
Proven track record of improving sales ramp
