As the Director of Sales Operations in Xactly's San Jose office, you will be responsible for driving and executing on sales strategy initiatives and focusing on improving the daily efficiency and effectiveness of Xactly’s sales organization. In addition to managing a high-performing team, you will create best practices and processes across reporting, quota setting, and management, sales process optimization as well as thought leadership on data science and advanced analytics.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations leaders and colleagues. He or she will be comfortable juggling tasks and able to work productively in a team-oriented environment with a great attitude. You will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them. Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally to ensure the revenue organization is supported with sales incentive compensation administration and to define our lead-to-closed sale process
Liaise with Marketing, OMS, Product, Training, Sales Finance, etc. Ensure cross-functional coordination and alignment
Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper revenue recognition and the reflection of revenue achievement related to reporting, quota achievement and commission payments
Manage analytics resource capacity on Sales Operations team
Develop systems, processes, metrics, dashboards and quality checks to enable the consistent and accurate execution of the sales process
Define, develop and manage the delivery of sales training to assure the rapid assimilation of new sales hires and the ongoing development of existing sales staff
Build automated reporting through salesforce.com that drives regular stream of key data to decision-makers
Deliver strategic and operations projects globally as required to evolve and transform Xactly’s sales model
Plan and execute all initiatives and programs for maximum impact but minimal disruption to your key stakeholders in the sales team
Communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader
Work with fascinating data and be at the front of thought leadership for Xactly’s monetization strategy
Lead evaluations and implementations of new productivity tools
Analyze sales data
Develop and maintain revenue-related KPIs and analytics; establish effective analysis of sales force trends and performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies;
Provide analytics and reporting for the global sales team, including forecasting, pipeline analysis, quarter and year-end reports, board slides, performance to quota, deal tracking, funnel growth, funnel velocity, close rates, etc.
Drive the roadmap for sales enablement technologies and ensure full adoption of processes and systems
Collaborate with the Sales Operations org to plan and deploy effective end-user training and ensure successful change management
Required Skills:

8+ years of experience in a Sales Operations leadership role for a fast-growing tech/Saas company
5+ years of experience managing a Salesforce.com CRM system
Strong planning, operational and analytical skills
Experience leading transformation and scaling a global org
