Facebook is looking for a leader to run the GMS Global Partnerships Management Organization. They should be a creative and strategic thinker with a hunger for challenge and opportunity. They should be a rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a history of growing and developing high growth, scaled operations. This leader will be responsible for a global organization, representing Facebook in C-level interactions with marketing partners, and helping to shape Facebook's go to market strategy by working closely with sales, solutions engineering, and product growth teams. The candidate should have senior executive contacts across the business landscape and a history of growing and developing high growth, scaled operations as well as an understanding of Facebook's strategic and competitive position This full-time position reports to the Global Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and is located in our headquarters office in Menlo Park, California. Global travel is required.
Responsibilities
Define market requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of partner performance, aggregate feedback, explore new strategic opportunities, inform the product roadmap with enhanced or new functionality, and ensure Facebook’s partnerships are optimized country-by-country and globally
Build alliances with strategic partners by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple top to top touch points, and maintaining partner health.
Build strong working relationships with leaders across Facebook teams (e. g. sales, product, product marketing, engineering, business development, marketing, human resources sales planning/operations and finance)
Work in a highly cross-functional environment to build end-to-end programs that deploy our services through partners, from product conception to implementation to marketing and go-to-market
Evangelize partners internally and externally by delivering presentations at industry conferences and representing the business in front of internal teams, strategic partners and media
Drive the Facebook Marketing Partner strategy for Global Marketing Solutions through identifying, managing and scaling key ecosystems and ecosystem partnerships. Collaborate with partners and developers to ensure that the experiences we build together are the best possible for users, supports our partners' goals and support Facebook's mission
Team/people leadership including recruiting, training, and development (with support of cross-functional teams)
Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management and conflict resolution, as well as provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, recognition programs, and strategic development
Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Minimum Qualifications
15+ years experience in sales, partnerships or consulting
10+ years experience in building and leading teams
Executive level partnership and product experience at tech companies
Familiarity with developer ecosystem
Ability to set and execute a strategy to continue to build the partner ecosystem
Ability to define, develop and lead programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills
Proven organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Global experience (including work outside the US)
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
