As the Director of Demand Generation, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational programs, campaigns and results that create a steady, predictable stream of highly qualified leads for our Evernote Business sales teams. This role will work in close partnership with the Channel Marketing team within sales leadership to jointly design and lead the execution of core programs to drive demand. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with extraordinary marketers and a chance to drive a cross-section of programs that run the gamut between online and offline; prospect and customer; net new and cross-sell leads.
You would report to the VP of Global Customer Marketing with responsibilities to:
Establish demand generation as the marketing engine that helps drive sales revenue:
Create strategic inbound marketing programs that deliver against aggressive New To Franchise (NTF) lead quotas
Own the pipeline target and the budget for both self-serve and sales assist MQLs
Collaborate within marketing teams to execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and generate qualified sales leads, using the full range of owned, earned and paid acquisition channels
Identify and engage new, high-growth potential channels, such as paid influencers, thought leaders, marketing partnerships, etc.
Align content and messaging with prospect and customer interests, using data, quantitative analysis and continuous testing to build a clear personalization and touchpoint strategy that attracts new audiences, connects with prospect decision-makers and delivers highly qualified leads
Guide prospects through the conversion funnel, optimizing the touchpoints in ways that increase SQL and Closed Won conversion rates
Work closely with Product Marketing leaders to ‘mine the base’ for opportunities to nurture and attract existing Evernote customers to the professional product line
Develop a wide range of sales enablement materials, with both local and global application
Create operational excellence within systems, teams and insights:
Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to build high quality campaign content, with a deliberate eye towards global use and local nuances
Craft and manage campaign calendars, timelines and execution plans, primarily for North America, Japan and EMEA
Work with sales channel marketing, sales operations, marketing operations and data teams to ensure end-to-end campaign effectiveness tracking and reporting

Creative and analytical, you inspire others to work collaboratively towards shared objectives, across functions and geographies, as well as externally with partners and vendors
You are curious and listen well, absorbing different views and gathering diverse requirements before actively setting a course and charging forward
Hands-on leader with the ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic and global environment
Demonstrated experience leading the demand generation function to execute integrated marketing campaigns for verticals and target audiences (e.g. IT budget holders, solution architects, developers, etc). Small business targets a plus.
Event planning and management experience including trainings, meetup groups, trade shows, road shows, executive programs and large-scale conferences
Strong project management skills, accustomed to working to a budget and within strict timelines
CRM and Marketing Automation experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BA required
Minimum of 7-10 years in B2B software or SaaS marketing
Ability to travel globally
