Director Business Process Automation Google Sunnyvale

As the leader of our Global Capacity Delivery Business Process Automation team, you will be managing a team of program managers and business process architects driving efforts to scale our operations in the planning and delivery of our production compute infrastructure. In this hands on role, you will partner with operations and software teams to develop a vision, implement plans, and lead transformation efforts to enable execution of Google’s cloud to cost, quality and delivery metrics. You will use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and advance processes. You will have a track record of change management success across capacity planning, resource management and delivery, new product introduction, supply chain management, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment automation.
Responsibilities
Manage and build a team of program managers and business process architects responsible for driving transformation initiatives and delivering design, implementation schedules, and status.
Define and maintain business process architecture roadmap and strategy, aligned with customer needs, delivery speed, cost and service objectives.
Manage end-to-end business process definition and integration across Global Capacity Delivery and system integration working with our operations and partner software teams while driving priorities for both process and software implementation.
Demonstrate operational and strategic expertise and leadership across automation and process initiatives. Support development of standards, policy and procedures.
Partner closely with partner teams to identify gaps, make improvement recommendations, drive consensus, and facilitate change.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Engineering or Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience building and leading technical, high performing operations teams
5 years of direct experience designing and launching large scale distributed systems within an IT infrastructure environment.
Leadership, operational and management experience in a fast-paced, high-tech, manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA.
Lean Six Sigma training/certification.
15 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: data center/network/server infrastructure, capacity and operations planning, supply chain operations, Cloud operations.
IT/software project management experience and experience of achieving strategic goals on time.
Demonstrated ability to drive change with a long-term perspective across multiple functions to transform the business. Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
