This role is to drive Cisco business growth by focusing on strategic mega deals and pursuing transformational Digital and Internet-of-Things solutions in a specific market in Greater China. This is a customer facing business development and solution selling role aimed at identifying business opportunities at mid-long term time frame, through leading & engaging key stakeholders to interpret & advise customer business needs into digital solutions, with focus on information and communication technology. This person has a long-term view of digital transformation and Internet-of-Things acceleration, and as a solution lead also a focus on supporting sales opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the business development of product and services solutions to Cisco’s major accounts;
• Perform presales, design and pilot for complex digitalization solution;
• Assist customers with strategic direction, technology selection, implementation and rollout of Internet-of-Things solution;
• Identify & design Reference Architecture best practices for global and/or regional adoption;
• Work as virtual team member to provides backup support on other sales engagements;
• Provide training and mentorship to sales as well as real-time escalation response for product support issues;
• Lead business workshops, solution design and architecture reviews with responsibility for managing regional digitalization mega deals.
Who you are?
• Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in sales and marketing and/or business development;
• Have demonstrable track record of successful selling of large scale Digital or Internet-of-Things solutions and in leading business development and sales engagements with financial responsibility;
• Clearly understand the Internet-of-Things solution selling approach and must be comfortable to work in a matrix environment and with cross-functional teams;
• Demonstrated track record of building businesses in Asia Pacific, Japan, Greater China markets;
• Is result-orientated and collaborative in management style;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with multi-lingual capabilities;
• Familiarity with technology products and solutions will be an advantage;
• Educational Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a technology or business field required and MBA preferred.
