Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. in San Jose and San Diego is looking for a passionate and experienced engineer with in-depth knowledge on camera image signal processing and computer vision algorithms and architecture. We are part of a team that designs Exynos ModAP chipsets powering various mobile devices and cars.
Designing ISP and 3A algorithms.
Performing image quality evaluation and tuning and developing analysis metrics and tools.
Developing imaging features such as High Dynamic Range, Low Light Photography, Depth Sensing, Shallow Depth of Field, Super-Resolution Image, and Video Stabilization.
Developing computer vision solutions.
Optimizing solutions for mobile platforms utilizing dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores
Leading a group of camera systems and/or SW engineers technically.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Expertise in image/video signal processing, computational photography, computer vision, and/or machine learning.
Experience in image and video signal processing algorithm development
Experience in image signal processor pipeline and 3A design
Experience in embedded camera architecture analysis and design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
C/C++ and MATLAB coding skills
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with 12+ years of experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in image sensors and optics
Hands-on experience in signal processing algorithm implementation, optimization, and debugging in embedded systems
