LinkedIn’s Global Workplace Services (GWS) organization is responsible for designing and delivering facilities and services that reflect LinkedIn’s culture to create an environment where people love to come to work, interact with their colleagues, and deliver exceptional results. We are looking for an extraordinary manager who can lead our newest organization-wide program focused on operationalizing a culture of experimentation and intelligent risk taking, with the goal of continuously improving LinkedIn’s global workplace experience by applying science to the art of design. This individual will be part technician, part evangelist, part salesperson and an all-around expert at process development and implementation. The Director of Program Management reports to the Head of Design and Build and will lead the program globally.
Develop and deploy workplace innovation programs in collaboration with GWS functional operations leads and the GWS leadership team
Drive interest and adoption of an ongoing culture of testing and experimentation
Drive continuous innovation and improvement of workplace environments and processes with the goal of using workplace to drive greater effectiveness amongst individuals and teams
Create specific project development and execution processes for all innovation programs
Develop tools and KPIs to track and measure success
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and GWS functional operational leads to continuously improve programs and processes
Oversee and manage logistics for multiple global workplace testing environments to drive collaboration and ensure coordination
Manage the program budgets and develop financial strategy to ensure program sustainability
Develop and manage regular reporting and communications of program initiatives and results
Recruit and manage outside vendors and partners actively engaged in ongoing testing environments and processes
Partner with cross-functional leaders and teams to help maximize our impact and expand our audience and reach
Sell/promote/evangelize the program and its potential within GWS, within LinkedIn, and in the broader corporate workplace industry
Required Experience:
BA/BS degree
10+ years of experience in program management or operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with workplace related programs such as strategy/design thinking consulting, complex creative problem solving, and global initiative development
Leadership, people management, and team building experience
Successful experience building programs, initiatives, or systems within an existing organization
Experience managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
Proven ability to build relationships and partner with outside organizations, evangelize new concepts with business partners and build program awareness within an industry
Degree in architecture, engineering, real estate or equivalent experience
