The Director, Talent Acquisition Solutions is a highly strategic role at a very important juncture in Workday’s growth. The Workday leadership team understand that attracting, acquiring, developing and retaining top talent will be critical to achieving the organization’s business objectives. This person will report to and partner with the VP Global Talent Acquisition with the mandate of “breaking and disrupting traditional recruiting models” and leading the team to innovate, design, develop and deploy transformative talent acquisition practices that define “experience”, “data driven decisions” and “process”. The goals of this position are to ensure Workday Talent Acquisition efforts balance capacity, productivity and experience to ensure every hire is timely, special and unique. While Talent Acquisition transitions and transforms into a talent network and experience centric model, there is a critical need to engage and recruit skills and talents that support this change.
The expectation is that this strategic and creative leader will:
Lead and manage a team of Managers responsible for: 1. Talent Acquisition Systems and Enablement, 2. Global Talent Acquisition Experience, 3. Global Talent Acquisition Compliance, 4. Global Talent Acquisition Analytics & Reporting, 5. Global Talent Acquisition Services (High Volume Recruitment)
Innovate and implement cutting edge practices such as “first and best” use of Workday Recruitment and results based selection
Build best in class training and education to ensure every recruiter and hiring manager appropriately attracts, selects and represents Workday appropriately
Co-partner with Business Operations to develop goals for Talent Acquisition that ties operational performance to experience
Manage/Influence Workforce and headcount planning process to ensure analytics tell a story, advise solutions and problem solve
Build a Workday Talent experience that is second to none: candidate care and how we treat managers and candidates that differentiate us from the competition.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or general business operations related role
Minimum of 5+ years in a leadership or management capacity
Experience in building and managing multi-management teams (multiple managers)
Demonstrated success working in a highly-matrixed executive environment. Must possess exceptional influencing skills to establish credibility and trust with internal customers and build influential relationships with partners in the business
A deep understanding of the levers of talent acquisition programs in terms of design, development and deployment
Previous exposure to and ability to build close working relationships with cross-functional partners such as HR Business Partners, Total Rewards and Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
