We are looking for a high-performing IoT Sales Director. The successful candidate will drive and help meet our sales and revenue growth objectives.
Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve the financial targets. His/her duties will include meeting annual targets, building relationships, understanding industry trends and customer needs along with owning and building the sales funnel.
Drive IoT business (revenues and margins) in Europe
Responsible for overall IoT revenue and margin from assigned customers or segments
Owning and building a healthy pipeline with focus around acquiring new logo’s
Drive partner enabled sales
Actively identify IoT opportunities and engage customers
Coordinate/ engage with Account Managers and Client Partners to find opportunities in existing accounts
Lead IoT tenders /RFPs and win IoT projects
Responsible for the technical and commercial solution to be offered to customers
Identify and analyze business requirements, conduct discovery workshop, document operation processes, and develop recommendations in collaboration with the solution architects with technical specifications
Attend conferences and seminars related to IoT & Digital and build pipeline
Understanding of complex, enterprise-level, systems integration environments that involve multiple IoT/IIoT technology areas
Leverage and generate applicable Internet-of-Things and Industry 4.0 “best practices” white papers within virtual team
Detailed knowledge and/or working experience in Digital and Internet-of-Things solutions with products and services integration as well as various vendors providing business systems and application software
Required Skills:
10+ years’ experience in solution sales, business development, solution management or similar roles
Extensive years of successful sales of complex propositions (hardware, software, services mix, IT/ITES)
An intimate understanding of the IoT marketplace, players, and trends
Excellent Written, Communication and presentation skills. Collaboratively work and support team to discover creative, best practices
Passion for IoT and the new business opportunities it offers our customers
The candidates should be SME’s in atleast one industry (Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, O&G, Health Care, CG, Retail), apart from being an SME on IoT.
