Core Responsibilities:
Direct the operation of the Quality function, administering systems and controls to ensure the timely and accurate evaluations of raw materials, packaging components, manufactured batches, in process materials and finished products.
Monitor the effectiveness of the Quality function establishing Quality Assurance and control programs, policies and procedures which ensure product integrity and compliance with all product specifications, Revlon procedures and Regulatory requirements.
Responsible for product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Responsible for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
Responsible for leading all investigations or audits concerning product quality, GMP and safety
Direct the GMP program by developing and administering a program that assures compliance to all Corporate and Food and Drug Administration requirements and regulations.
Perform administrative duties associated with the functioning of the department including budget preparation and control, personnel training and development, documentation requirements, new technology development, etc.
Improve the quality of and ensure the effective execution of safety and environmental management processes following established regulations, policies, standards and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control systems and procedures, chemistry, biological sciences, statistics, managerial disciplines, Federal Regulations (cosmetic, drug, food).
Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA, SAP & ISO rules and regulations
Thorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Strong problem solving skills
Strong Continuous improvement skills
Strong SAP knowledge
Strong skills in talent management and development
Strong skills in developing and delivering effective presentations
Advanced skills in financial and analytical management
Advanced interpersonal skills in dealing with senior company executives

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related degree
Graduate Degree is preferred
5 – 8 years of experience in a leadership or director role
Nondurable goods manufacturing experience preferred
